Important information: Community Membership is required to upgrade to other memberships or services, and to attend any of your region's events, your first £10 secures Community Shares, which are withdrawable, non-transferable shares in your region's co-operative. Community Shares earn 5% interest, which is rolled up and paid when you leave the society, handing in your membership card and withdrawing your shares. There is a subsequent £10 annual renewal fee to support your region's services.
You're investing in your regional Venture.Community Co-Operative Society for commercial reasons as a Non-User Investor Member within the society's rules, you are expected to spend some time supporting your investment and the community effort at your region's Venture.Community events.
These Community Shares are not regulated by the FCA and fall outside of the Financial Services & Markets Act, Capital at Risk, the board of the society can suspend withdrawals.
