I am a technologist turned venture advisor with a deep passion for helping early-stage startups create right-sized engineering and product teams to allow them to scale while keeping a sensible cashflow perspective. Over the past 15 years, I have served in key leadership roles, including Managing Director, Operations Director, COO, and CTO. I have shipped over 200 products to market and have had those products used by over 100 million users. My approach to the venture ecosystem is deeply rooted in operational reality. I believe that sustainable startup growth requires not just a disruptive idea, but robust software architecture, sound governance, and measurable market traction indiators. I actively advise founders building enterprise software, focusing on teams that prioritise engineering excellence and strong business management. I often partner with VCs, angel syndicates, and accelerators to conduct technical due diligence on prospective investments. This involves assessing product definitions, software maintainability, architecture scalability, execution risk, and team structure. As a Fellow, I bring this experience to founding teams who need guidance on software development strategy and establishing effective governance as they scale.
