OUR PHILOSOPHY
Venture.Community is a cooperative of venture company builders formed of experienced (Fellows) and new (Founders) alike.* We are working together to bring the rising tide to our startups, to access the best advisors, suppliers, customers and investors.
We’re collaborating as Fellows and Founders for the greater good to build and accelerate venture companies through a proven structure that has been modernised for the venture-tech era.
Venture.Community provides wider community benefit through open pre-acceleration and entrepreneurial education. The most interesting founders are admitted by our fellows for their companies to receive deep collaborative acceleration.
We empower those who align with our vision to meaningfully participate in our community, taking ownership of their role in a shared mission of ambition and impact.
Collectively, we work to the goal of sparking a new era of entrepreneurial excellence, pooling our knowledge and capability to guide the next wave of founders through the early stages of Venture.

OUR MISSION
The Venture.Community logo represents the rising sun, reflecting off the sea onto the sandy shore. We see the early stages of Venture as a parallel of the journey of a turtle, facing their greatest risk and uncertainty from hatching (Pre-Seed) to reaching the Sea (Series A).
We’re here to guide and accelerate this journey to reduce the attrition rate of high potential Startups from preventable failures. Through our community approach to acceleration, the Venture.Community acts to lead our founders across the treacherous sand.
Our mission is to be “the rising tide” which enables our Members to unlock their full potential and solve the world’s problems.

We are allied cooperatives of entrepreneurs, advisors, venture builders, and angel investors committed to building a brighter future for technological innovation.
Many of our Fellows have changed the world, and are here to help Founders uncap their ambition. Many of our Founders have incredible technology which will have its day.
We are a diverse and eclectic group of members with vastly different experiences and expertise. Our diversity lends to the depth of knowledge accessible within the Venture.Community. What brings us together is our commitment to enabling our members to enact meaningful change through their entrepreneurialism.

PETER HOPTON
CONVENER IN CHIEF
Founder of VeryPC, Iceotope, and Venture.Community, Peter knows first-hand the intricacies of the Founder’s journey.
Currently, Peter is accelerating a cluster of startups under his Boutique, Red Paisley. Peter specialises in deep digital tech, predominantly at the seed and early growth stages.
With his experience and expertise in founding, scaling and exiting companies, Peter is now turning his attention to adding value across the ecosystem in his beloved home of South Yorkshire.
NICK DYTCZAK MIDWORTH
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Founder of a music and performative arts events company and politics graduate achieving a first-class honours from the University of Sheffield.
Nick has several years of experience in growing events organisations and managing small teams. Nick is responsible for the events management, digital infrastructure, and business development at Venture.Community.
Nick has worked in the background alongside Peter to build the framework and infrastructure of Venture.Community.
