Memberships

The roles that make the Society.

Three honorific tiers carry postnominal letters — earned through pledge and sponsorship, not bought. Alongside them sit our companies, our Angels, and the general Community Members from whom the next Fellows, Specialists, and Founders are drawn.

Community Roles

The honorific roles of The Venture Society. Once approved by sponsorship and pledge, each carries its postnominal letters in any setting where the member appears across our platforms.

Fellows (FVS — Fellow of the Venture Society)

Experienced entrepreneurs who pick the companies we support. Supported Companies go through our super-accelerator and gain the backing of the community as they do. Fellows invest their time and money as the non-consensus gateway to selected start-ups doing valuable, scalable ventures. Many go on to serve as NEDs or Chairs of the Supported Companies on commercial terms.

Specialists (SVS — Specialist of the Venture Society)

Experienced portfolio experts, selected and sponsored by Fellows to join. They work alongside Supported Companies during acceleration, and many pick up longer-term commercial relationships from that work.

Founders (MVS — Member of the Venture Society)

Community members who have pledged their support and are actively building companies. They need the sponsorship of a Fellow to be formally recognised. A Founder may lead a Supported Company — but is not required to.

Companies, Members & Angels

Associated & Supported Companies

The companies our members build. Supported Companies receive the full support of the community and can submit Bounties for help — they must complete our Super-Accelerator to qualify. Associated Companies access the library of resources and benefits contributed by the membership, and may purchase membership to use the co-working spaces.

Community Members

Our general supporters. They work to support the community and gain access to our events and learning. They are the Fellows, Specialists, and Founders of tomorrow.

Angels

Any member — including Community Members — can sign an HNWI self-certification in their dashboard to gain access to investment opportunities, as early as the start of acceleration. Learn more →
